Practicing with a Net

Hey there, Rukket Nation! Henry Fall from MyLinesAcademy here, along with Dana Finkelstein from LPJTour. We're already hitting the grind and getting those reps in. Today, let's dive into the world of practicing golf at home with a net.

Our backdrop is the Haack Net Pro, complete with the new SPDR Steel Netting. Now, even though we're not at the driving range with defined targets, practicing alignment and aim remains crucial. Take a look down the camera and consider this: where would the target line be if you set up parallel to the mat? Surprisingly, your ball line shifts more towards the edge of the black box or the end of the line.

Picture this – many students sending videos have the net's center skewed to their left, leading to undesired outcomes. Practicing with misaligned perceptions might lead to unintended slices or pulls. To combat this, align your hitting area with the target, creating a solid connection between your eye's perception and the real setup.

With a simple adjustment, you'll experience enhanced alignment, increased confidence, and a more accurate shot. Remember, the eyes can deceive, but proper alignment can make all the difference. Swing away and watch your game soar!
