Ball Position with Henry Fall and Dana Finkelstein

When it comes to setting up your shots, ball position plays a crucial role in achieving accuracy and consistency. Henry Fall and Dana Finkelstein from the LPGA TOUR are here to guide you through the essentials of ball placement.

For irons, Dana suggests positioning the ball around the front middle area, just inside your left heel. This helps you strike the ball with the proper angle of attack and compression, promoting a clean and accurate shot.

However, when you switch to your driver, adjustments are needed. The ball should be placed even more forward, closer to your left toe. Additionally, your stance may become slightly closed with the driver, offering more control and helping you find that sweet spot on impact.

Remember, your feet might also adapt – wider for the driver and a bit more open for irons and wedges. Experiment and find the right balance that suits your swing and helps you consistently deliver solid shots.

Keep these ball position tips in mind as you practice your swings. A little attention to detail can lead to big improvements in your golf game.
