Club Face Control With Henry Fall and Dana Finkelstein

In today's golf tip session, Henry Fall and Dana Finkelstein from the LPGA Tour are back at Superstition Mountain, and they're delving into the crucial role of the clubface in determining the start line of your shots.

The age-old debate of clubface versus path is put to rest as they highlight that the clubface primarily controls the initial direction of the golf ball. This valuable insight becomes evident even when practicing at home, as hitting into a net provides immediate feedback on ball flight.

Dana demonstrates the impact of the clubface by hitting shots with various face angles. A shot with a square face goes straight down the target line, while an open face sends the ball to the right, and a closed face directs it to the left.

This serves as a reminder for golfers to pay close attention to their clubface position, as it has a significant influence on where the ball starts its journey. Whether you're fine-tuning your swing or working on adjustments, remember that the clubface reigns supreme in dictating your shot's direction.
